Americans in Sicily starts in 2018 as a DIY attempt as an independent booking and artist management agency, based on the passion and experience of singer-songwriter, artist and IT professional Angelo Romano (www.angeloromano.com).

By means of his long-standing experience as a traveling musician throughout Europe and his past stints as an European from Italy living in the Netherlands, Berlin and Barcelona, Angelo is now willing to offer the knowledge and contacts he acquired to support all independent musicians he believes in, in order to help them getting the exposure they deserve. Its name comes as a real fact from WWII, when the Americans landed to Sicily and occupied it for a short period of time, and also because it could easily sound as a "complicated relationship" in many terms (a not-so-hidden metaphor of how music is undeservedly taken into account as a more and more marginal filling concept, if not a noise) and, last but not least, because it sounds cool!

As being based in Barcelona, the obvious focus of Americans in Sicily is the Catalan capital and its area. However, support can be offered for other parts of Europe, most specifically (but not exclusively) Berlin, Poland and the Netherlands.
